2024 Honda CR-V Stolen Overnight from Copper Leaf Street in Kitchener

 KITCHENER, ON — January 1


Waterloo Regional Police are investigating the theft of a 2024 Honda CR-V that was stolen overnight from a residential driveway on Copper Leaf Street in Kitchener.


The vehicle was parked outside the home on the night of December 31 and was discovered missing the following morning. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime during the overnight hours. No suspects have been identified at this time.




Police say incidents involving stolen newer-model SUVs have been increasing across the Kitchener-Waterloo region, with vehicles like the Honda CR-V frequently targeted.


Residents in the Copper Leaf Street area are asked to check security cameras, dash cams, or doorbell footage from the night of December 31 into the early morning hours.


Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity or sees the stolen vehicle in progress is urged to contact 911 immediately. Information can also be reported to Waterloo Regional Police through non-emergency channels.


Police continue to encourage vehicle owners to use anti-theft devices and park in well-lit areas to help deter thefts.
